Kortlist is free to use. Make boards, score, share — no account needed to start. Without an account your boards stay on your device; sign in and they sync to the cloud across your devices. Free accounts keep up to 3 boards and get 10 complimentary scans a month; a paid subscription unlocks unlimited boards and more scans, and extra scans can also be bought as one-time packs that never expire.
Kortlist is owned and operated by MB Local Ghost, a limited liability company registered in and operating within the European Union. By using Kortlist you are entering into an agreement with MB Local Ghost. Everything below is the long version.
By accessing or using Kortlist ("the Service"), available atkortlist.eu andapp.kortlist.eu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and ourPrivacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Kortlist is a side-by-side table for decisions: options are columns, the parameters that matter are rows, you score each cell. It runs in your browser and installs as a PWA on desktop and mobile.
Today, the Service offers:
Without an account, all boards, items, parameters, and scores you create in Kortlist are stored locally in your browserand are not uploaded to our servers. When you sign in, your boardssync to our cloud backend (Google Firebase) so they're backed up and available on the devices where you're signed in. Sharing a board via link encodes it into a URL that you control. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
The flip side: without an account, we can't recover boards you haven't shared or exported — we literally don't have them. Signed in, your boards are backed up to the cloud, but you remain responsible for keeping your own copies of anything critical.
You can use Kortlist without an account. If you choose to use the optional URL Scan feature, you will be asked to sign in with Google. The data we store in association with an account is described in ourPrivacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you sign in with and for any activity that occurs under your Kortlist account as a result.
The core of Kortlist — building, scoring, ranking, sharing, and syncing boards — is provided free of charge and is offered"as is". Each account also receives a monthly allowance of complimentary scans (currently 10 per month, automatically renewing).
On the free tier — and when using Kortlist without an account — you can keep up to 3 boards. Boards that other people share with you don't count toward this limit, since they're stored at the expense of the person sharing them. Some per-board ceilings (such as a maximum number of items and parameters per board) apply to all accounts, paid or free, as basic anti-abuse measures.
We may modify, add, remove, or gate free-tier features — including the board limit and the size and conditions of the complimentary scan allowance — at our discretion and without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of them.
Kortlist offers optional paid monthly subscriptions(currently Kortlist Base and Kortlist Plus). A subscription removes the free 3-board limit (subject to the anti-abuse ceilings above) and raises your monthly scan allowance. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Applicable EU VAT is added at checkout based on your billing country.
Additional scans can be purchased as one-time scan packs. Scan packs are a non-subscription, prepaid credit applied to your Kortlist account.

Scan packs are digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium and are credited to your account immediately after purchase. By completing a scan pack purchase you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) is lost once delivery has begun.
None of this affects your rights if something is genuinely broken. If a pack didn't credit, or a scan clearly failed on our end, emailinfo@kortlist.eu and we'll sort it out.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service, or to revoke remaining scan credit, for accounts that violate these terms.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We are not liable for any loss resulting from changes to, or unavailability of, the Service.
Kortlist is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that URL Scan output will be accurate or complete. Scoring and ranking results are a tool for your decisions — you remain responsible for the decisions you make based on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MB Local Ghost and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Kortlist.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction in which MB Local Ghost is registered.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
